Coach has unveiled its Winter 2025 collection, and this chapter of Stuart Vevers’ creative journey feels like stepping into a wardrobe built for modern dreamers. Debuted in New York, the collection reimagines Coach’s American heritage through the playful lens of youth culture, with a festive, almost indulgent spirit that mirrors the joy of dressing up during the holiday season.
Winter 2025 celebrates the ritual of getting ready—those private moments before a night out when fashion becomes a little performance of its own. Vevers’ dresses and skirts, crafted in crepe, chiffon, taffeta and tulle, sweep the floor in dramatic lengths, glittering under lights with flocked stars, embroidered polka dots, sequin paillettes and delicately appliqued butterflies. Peplum tops nod to 1940s silhouettes, while suede and denim jackets capture the romance of the American Southwest, adding warmth and character to evening looks. Classic American sportswear inspires layered outfits of plaid blazers, shirts and ties, bringing movement and pattern to tailored combinations.
Knitwear anchors the season with shaggy oversized cardigans, fitted sweaters with bowtie motifs, and intarsia jerseys portraying Disney’s Pluto, who also charms his way onto sweatshirts and tees. The collection’s silhouettes follow the relaxed, repurposed shape introduced in Fall, with oversized denim trousers and pleated wool or leather maxi skirts worn across genders. Playful statement pieces appear throughout the collection—a tiger-print faux fur cape, long coats in shearling and repurposed denim, a double-breasted Teddy coat with a matching hat, and a sheer sequined capelet in silk chiffon, each one designed for the individual who loves standing out on their own terms.
The leathergoods offering revisits Coach’s archives through a contemporary lens. Three bags designed by Bonnie Cashin take the spotlight: the 1969 Double Entry Satchel with its side pockets and kisslock closures, the 1973 Doctor Satchel with rolled leather handles and dual turnlock pockets, and the Swagger Bag from 1967. These heritage designs return in natural patina leather and festive red, white and metallic gold finishes. The Kisslock Frame Bag has been refined with smaller proportions, while the Twin Turnlock Bag from the Fall runway reappears with elongated straps crafted for today’s on-the-go lifestyle.
Footwear amplifies the season’s celebratory mood through crystal-studded bow pumps in red, black and silver, leather slippers that bring comfort into luxury, and the Soho Sneaker, now available in suede and leather mixes across red, black and white as well as tiger, zebra and leopard prints. Optical glasses and sunglasses evolve from their graphic rave-inspired Fall shapes, now adorned with sparkling crystal embellishment. The jewellery offering extends this celestial energy, with stars, moons, suns and angels interpreted in contrasting silver and brass tones, some accented with crystals.
Accessories bring imagination to the forefront. Adjustable leather crowns, stacked-leather wands and swords, shearling bunny ears, and five plush bag charms wearing seasonal outfits complete the world of Winter 2025, creating a delightfully whimsical spirit anchored in craftsmanship.
Photographed by Mark Kean against soft pastel studio backdrops, the lookbook captures the individuality and personality of each character in the collection. This winter, Coach invites its audience to rediscover the optimism of dressing up—the thrill of creating a look that feels like pure possibility. And for anyone who wants a closer look, the full collection is waiting to be explored, promising unexpected textures, archival treasures and pieces that rekindle the joy of fashion.
